Take part in a sacred journey of preparation for Christmas exploring the theme “Wonder.” Through spiritual practice, provocative images, original music, and scriptural invitations, you are invited to welcome Christ this season with courage, and envision an alternative reality of justice, peace, and divine love during this time of wonder, curiosity, and hope.
Each week of Advent we will release a guided Visio Divina practice with icons by Kelly Latimore, original music, and reflective questions that connect to the journey of Wonder. These practices will be available on Facebook and Youtube.
Every Tuesday of Advent we will offer an opportunity to go deeper with the weekly Visio Divina practices both online and in-person at the Community of Christ Temple. Groups will engage in the Visio Divina practice together, and then break into small formation groups for dialogue and sharing led by spiritual companions.
In early December a special Advent worship experience will be available to stream and download. This shorter, reflective experience is intended for use in faith communities, small groups, families, and as personal practice. This experience will be made available at youtube.com/CofChrist.
